While putzing around in my old hard drives, I’ve found some photos I’ve taken that I really liked. I remembered when all I had was my point-and-shoot and I found myself trying to be as creative as I could be with it.

I have an obsession with golden light. This one was taken in my kitchen, likely at dusk in the summer.

When we first moved into our house, I loved taking pictures of the wretched crab apple tree that only looks good about 1 week of the year, when it blooms a beautiful pink blossom. But then I loved taking pictures of the fallen crab apples themselves.

More of that golden light. This is an olive oil bottle in my kitchen. I loved the abstraction of this image.

I took my sunglasses and held it up to my camera, as a diy filter. Took this picture while I waited in the car for Rob.

Another obsession of mine is night skies. I took this picture just outside of the Courant one night.
