One of my anticipated shows of the year and I had a great time. The lighting was nice and mellow, and Chris Carrabba was very gracious toward his fans last night at the Webster Theater. As Chris is a native of West Hartford CT, he had quite a bit of support from friends and family who attended the show, including his grandmother. I had the privilege to meet a few of this crew, as the two other photographers in the pit with me were friends with Chris. I was actually the veteran concert photographer last night, and gave a quick low-light photography how-to for the newbie rock photographers.

To illustrate how wonderful Chris is for his fans, he even stoops down to speak with security to let them know he wants the audience to be able to take unlimited pictures throughout the night. Probably because of this, I was able to sneak in 4 songs of shooting, as opposed to the usual 3-song limit. I even managed to snag a good picture of the setlist, one of the only times this has EVER worked:
